Throughout my ordeals, my struggles, there was one important lesson that's stuck with me; you can NEVER be careful or prepared enough. There will ALWAYS be mistakes. There will ALWAYS be casualties. Defining Characteristics
His eyes, or more so his EYE: A long time ago, Zaytan met a terrible fate brought upon by a flaw, a weakness, within himself. This lead to the loss of his right eye. In its place now is a fake, golden eye with a few tricks up his sleeve. His left eye was damaged later on and cursed, giving it a black hue.

His Tattoo: Years ago Zaytan had a tattoo on his right upper arm (see picture). The reason he got this tattoo is unknown.

His clothing: Quickly into his journey, Zaytan realized that average clothing was nothing that anyone fighting Dark Wizards should wear. He needed something more, something that could help him... Armor. He was on a mission to an undisclosed location when he met her. A girl he knew was clever, useful.. The only drawback was that, well, she was from his past. But both had something the other needed. He needed armor, and received a versatile suit that had the look of feeling of actual clothing with magical defensive properties. She needed his last name. What better a person to marry than someone who not only had ties with important people within the Ministry, but was soon thought to be dead?

No Identity: As a renegade, Zaytan relinquished himself of any past ties. This included himself. Having faked his own death, Zaytan set himself free of any ties from the past whatsoever. It did come with repercussions, however. No longer 'officially' existing, Zaytan destroyed any ties he ever had with the Wizard world. Although this did mean that no one could ever trace him at all, not even when he used Killing Curses, it did exclude him from a lot of what would otherwise be huge advantages. For a long time he had to hunt for himself in terms of finding magical herbs and brooms. He had no access to magical transportation and so he had to resort to Muggle transportation. He couldn't even keep his wand, and instead uses wands he steals from the Dark Wizards he's destroyed. Having the girl in his life helped with this a bit. She was alive, and therefore was able to go anywhere she pleased and attain vital items that Zaytan otherwise would never have been able to attain.

His Attitude: Although Zaytans ultimate goal is to stop and kill every single Dark Wizard in existence, one would never think such a thing when meeting him. He is cold, hateful, and seemingly selfish. He'd have no trouble killing, or at least threatening to kill, someone to get what he needs to help himself. Many people who've had the 'honour' of meeting him have even claimed the tattoo on his left arm is a copy of the 'Dark Mark', which even lead people to believing he was a Dark Wizard. Of course, since there have been few instances in which people've met him, no one has proof and therefore the Ministry is not interested in him. As far as they're concerned, he's simply a myth.

Zaytans Eye

Many people would consider the loss of a vital piece of ones self a hefty loss, maybe even a weakness. This was no different for Zaytan after he'd lost his eye in battle. For a while he wasn't sure exactly what he could do about it. Having only half the vision of a normal human was a flaw that anyone could pick up on and use against him. So why not turn that weakness into an advantage? He did just that with some help from a source of powerful and intelligent wizards that he had sense forgotten. The eye itself has been equipped with some high-tech magical properties that allow Zaytan not only to hunt Dark Wizards more efficiently, but also grant him better accuracy when performing magic to compensate for the lost of half of his vision. The eye itself is a sneakoscope, which detects darkness, ill intent and dark magic. It has successfully aided him in destroying many weapons Dark Wizards tried to use to avoid him; portkeys and even horcruxes are one of the many tools he's destroyed. Not only can the eye lock in on a dark wizard, but it can help Zaytan aim his wand toward the best vantage point for a quick takedown. It connects itself to any wand that Zaytan uses and then uses this connection to help accuracy. His once main weakness is now his strongest asset.

Zaytans Strengths

Having lived on his own for many years, with the exception of the girl he met along the way, he has learnt to live for himself and not rely on the hardships of other human beings to get what he wants. Although it's a lonely life, not only did it make him a stronger individual but it also took away any feeling of sorrow or compassion that he otherwise would've felt as a result of someone else's death or injury. Being alone so long, Zaytan also took to working out a lot more considering he had to basically live on his own (he even built a house in the middle of nowhere with no tools whatsoever to help him). As a result he has a much more toned and powerful physique. He's used this strength to aid him if there was ever the chance that he was without a wand. When it comes to physical combat, it's tough to take him on. Being a renegade with no restraints accompanied by the Ministry, Zaytan has also been able to work and perfect the use of powerful magic, including but not limited to the 3 forbidden curses.

Zaytans Weaknesses

Ironically, many of Zaytans weaknesses are a result of the strengths he's received through the choices he's made. The biggest weakness for a long time was his lack of ability to blend in and associate him with society. Though he does have that weakness patched with the addition of his female companion, it's by no means fully taken of. No longer having any connections, it's also much more difficult for Zaytan to infiltrate areas that are otherwise forbidden, and being stealthy isn't one of his forte's either when his bulky size is taken into consideration. One of Zaytans biggest weaknesses is within his ability to use magic. Having solely focused on making himself stronger and stronger, Zaytan also opened himself up to an array of magical attacks. The armor that was made for him has helped to counteract this weakness, though armor does have its limits.

Zaytans History

For the better part of his childhood, Zaytan had it all. He was seeker and captain of Gryffindors Quidditch for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He had great marks and an abundance of friends, and had even found a girlfriend whom he'd loved dearly. It was his seventh year of school when, as they say, 'shit hit the fan'. His school was suddenly attacked by Dark Wizards. They killed many people, some strangers but many friends and professors he'd looked up to. Although the first attack had taken its' toll on Zaytan, he still thrived to try and be himself whilst fighting to protect those he lived. However, an array of attacks that evidently lead to their entire student body and facility migrating to a new school in an entire other Country began his metamorphosis. He was becoming cold; distant. He realized it about himself and didn't like it, yet the harder he tried to go back to being his old self, the worse he was becoming. He had taken a turn for the worst and those around him had seen it. He had become physically aggressive against his fellow students, even ones that used to consider him dear friends. He'd earned powerful enemies within the Dark Wizarding world through this too. Whether they saw him himself as a threat of the fact that his efforts were rallying up an alliance, it still lead to them wanting him wrote off. It was evident that the good within him was still alive, and soon enough the Dark Wizards used this to their advantage. The resulting catastrophe that lead to the death and destruction of more Wizards than he'd ever like to admit was because of Zaytans truest weakness; the love for his friends. Believing that Zaytan was dead, the Dark Wizards never bothered with him again, for now. It was miraculous in itself that Zaytan survived the attack with only a missing eye, but he decided to leave the past as it was. If they believed him dead, then so be it. The only way he'd ever become strong enough to finally stop the Dark Wizards was if he gave up his greatest weakness, a part of himself. He gave up his life, his friends, and his family to become who he is today. Does he regret it? Well, if he did, he'd never admit to it.
