Okay, for those of you who don't know, Bad Man Incorporated is a Newgrounds heavy metalist, and, in a lot of peoples opinions, one of the best to this date. You may or not may know his work, but if you wanna hear it, check out my quiz, or his audio page. For you fans out there, Bad Man has agreed to participate in an interview with me. Enjoy!

So, to start things off, what's your real name?

Shawn

When did you first start playing guitar, and doing drums?

Played guitar in high school, but from then..was 1992...hadn't picked up my guitar until 2005. Thats when I started programming drums too.

What was the very first song you've ever submitted to Newgrounds?

A really crappy one. Can't remember the name.

It's been a while since you've started treating us with your music, how much better do you think you've gotten since you first started off?

Well, the production end has gotten a lot better. And getting better all the time. It was just re honing what I already knew(guitar wise). I have learned a few new things..but as I always say..."Keep it simple, stupid" haha. (Less work too)

You must've gotten more equiptment since you started, what programs/guitars/drums/studios do you use? Do you like them better than the stuff you used when you started off?

I've tried a lot of music making things in the last couple years. Currently, I use Cubase, Guitar rig, Fruity Loops (EZDrummer plugin), Reason and Cool Edit Pro. They seem to work alright. I'm still looking for that "Elusive" SKULL CRUSHING SOUND..so I can CRUSH SKULLS! haha.

Have you ever been in any sort of gigs, and do you hope to make a living out of music?
Back in high school, but not since. Would love to though. Just looking for the opportunity before I get too old. I don't need the money, and have no "hopes" to make a living out of it. I'm already making a living doing something else I love too. I have done some fairly higher calibre projects, and they were fun too.

Do you think that you've gotten as much recognition as you deserve, and do you think Newgrounds is helping you get the recognition you have now?

I don't think I "deserve" recognition. I don't think its about the recognition. Although, it is quite overwhelming. I love to make music, happy I can share it..and glad it's received in a most positive manner. Newgrounds has been a fantastic outlet, and point of recognition for a lot of musicians, and I've met a lot of great people too.

What other sites do you post your music on?

Eh, Myspace has some stuff, Sheezyart.com, and a couple others that my old brain can't remember at the moment.

Are you working on any sort of amazing project now?

Amazing, perhaps. Always cooking something. Sometimes too many, and I forget some. hahaha

Is there any songs that you haven't submitted to Newgrounds, either thinking it's to good to submit, not good enough, or you just simply don't want submitted?

I probably have 50 or so songs in various stages that I leave incomplete, or never look back. Just a stepping stool. Sometimes I'll go back and steal my own ideas and turn them into something else.

Well, I'm glad people are listening, and I think that without some help from some key newgrounders,(and good friends) I wouldn't be nearly at the stage I am. Some people right off the top of my head are:
Speedmetalmessiah, DarKsidE, SlayerofTrolls, Demon-Slayer12, Rocker206, Gorebastard, Metaljonus,Metalized, Everyone else I can't remember(old age). The NG'ers, for their support, reviews, tips etc..Billy Bean too, for adding to my popularity through flashes and games. :D And everyone else for putting up with my hectic forgetfullness. hahahaha.

I only hope I can help others the way I was helped too.
